Legal Analyst - Fund Subscription (Shift: 14:00 - 22:00)

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Legal Analyst – Fund Subscription to join our global team.


Position Overview: The Legal Analyst is responsible for assisting in the roll out and operational delivery of two exciting new services aimed at the intersection between law and technology. The Legal Analyst will assist in all aspects of service delivery, service refinement, product development and client relationship management, thereby acquiring a niche FinTech skillset.


Responsibilities: Process

Digitise paper questionnaires and contracts. Map each questionnaire to a master questionnaire to maximise efficiency for investors and ensure accuracy for fund Counsel's review. Manage Side Letter administration on behalf of our clients by extracting and categorising agreed clauses Track and report on the completion status of investors within each fund using purpose-built dashboards Ensure that all activity reflects a defined process and is undertaken within set parameters Manage your queue in the client care service-desk within agreed processes and performance metrics while providing call trend analysis and pro-active suggestions for improvement People

Manage client relationships (chiefly investment managers and law firms), identify service development areas and take responsibility to ensure they get delivered Assist investors to complete their contracts and questionnaires online Train clients, their law firms and investors to use the platform efficiently Work closely with management to highlight any subscription and client care issues Work closely with the KYC and FATCA/CRS team so that the investors progress seamlessly from one stage of onboarding to the next Continuous Improvement and System

Work with the General Counsel and Senior Legal Analyst to refine operational procedures Develop a deep understanding of the platform and client requirements to proactively suggest improvements in order to maximize efficiency and control risk Work with the Business Analyst to translate ideas into system changes on our platform Management

Manage a varied workload in an efficient manner to meet key client deliverables and deadlines Support the measurement and reporting of performance using well considered indicators Report effectively to management with a 'no surprises' approach Requirements: Bachelor's degree level qualification in law Fluent spoken and written English Ability to leverage technology for efficiency Methodical with an organized and self-starting approach to work.
