Legal Advisor

Duties & Responsibilities Legal Advice and Support Provide legal advice to senior management and other departments. Interpret and apply laws, regulations, and court decisions. Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions Document Management Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Ensure all legal documents are accurate, compliant, and reflective of the company's interests. Compliance Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize legal risks. Strategic Planning Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company's strategic goals. Provide legal insights and recommendations to support business decisions Risk Management Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company Desired Experience & Qualification Bachelors degree in law (LLB or equivalent) Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdictions (Admission in the high court) Driver's licence? Over 5 years experience as a Legal Advisor with extensive Insurance experience
