Legal Advisor

As a Legal Advisor specializing in M&A and infrastructure finance, you will play a critical role in advising on high-stakes transactions, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with senior management, external counsel, and other stakeholders to support our strategic objectives and contribute to the successful execution of complex projects.Duties and responsibilities include:Provide expert legal advice and support on M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising on structuring and regulatory issues.Oversee and manage legal aspects of infrastructure finance projects, including project financing, investment structures, and risk management.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and mitigate potential legal risks.Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure the successful execution of transactions and projects.Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance materials.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive and strategic legal counsel.Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other third-party service providers.Provide training and guidance to junior legal staff and other departments on relevant legal matters.Requirements:Bachelor of Laws: LLB, B.Com Law, BA Law or equivalent qualificationMinimum 3 5 years post qualification experience.Admitted attorney of the High Court (required)Experience and knowledge of legislations applicable to the public sector at advisory level.Strong written and verbal communication skillsGood contact drafting and negotiation skills Apply now: If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
