Responsibilities:Labour advise.Give telephonic labour adviceResponsible for assisting the department on the development of employee talent management and career development policy and procedure, and alignment of best industry practice;Responsible for assisting the department with the improvement of the employee position system and job grading, and alignment of best industry practices;Responsible for assisting the department in the development of succession planning policy and procedure, and alignment of best industry practices;Responsible for assisting the department on the improvement of employee performance, remuneration, and benefits policy and procedure, and alignment of best industry practice;Responsible for assisting the department on other Human Resource management related projects;Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on HR issues to employees and management, in keeping with HR practices and culture.Industrial Relations: Ensure the company disciplinary code and policies comply with all statutory Acts, advising management on disciplinary code and procedures. Deal with Bargaining Council and unions a pre-requisite.Recruitment and Retention: Taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity.HR administrative system: Maintain an effective system, including employment contracts, and relevant reporting, and ensure proper operation of all HR processes.Training and Development: Identify needs, implement suitable programs, evaluate outcomes, develop and compile ATR and WSP, FP&M Seta liaison, and employee induction programs. Facilitate and coordinate Learnership and Skills programs and administrate all Seta funding and documentation.Company Policies and Procedures: Ensuring all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with legislation.Employment Equity: Update EE Plan and Reports, EE committee meetings, and submissions to Dept of Labour.Advice and assisting with all legal matters for all companies in the group would be a major role.Travel nationally will be required from time to timeRequirementsLLB / B Proc / Admitted Attorney5 years of Bargaining Council / CCMA experience5 years HR Manager experience in the FMCG industryAdvanced Excel skillsOwn carOnly SA Citizens will be consideredExcellent policy and procedure drafting skills, excellent proficiency in English;Good people skills, strong ability for communication and coordination;Work well under pressure and deadlines;Adopting and responding to changes;Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
