As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Account Manager to join our team. Position Overview: The Legal Account Manager will play a critical role in managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, with a proven track record in maintaining and expanding client relationships. Prior experience in the legal sector or a related industry is mandatory. Your role responsibilities will include, inter alia the following: Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships. Engaging with clients to record the clients business and system needs and to design client solutions, Client Training: Training of users within new or existing clients. Account Management: Oversee and manage client accounts, ensuring all client expectations are met or exceeded. Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the legal team to develop and implement account strategies that align with both client goals and company objectives. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates to clients on the status of their projects. Analyse client data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaising with the Client, Legal Delivery Manager and any other applicable internal stakeholders to ensure that full, proper and timeous instructions are provided in relation to all client requests This is a remote position; however, if you are not based in Gauteng, occasional travel to Johannesburg might be required. To be considered for the position, youll need the following: Admitted Attorney At least 4 years post-articles experience in the legal sector or a related industry At least 3 years experience in client relationship management, account management, or a similar role, preferably within the legal industry Excellent client relations and management skills Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills A methodical approach to tasks with real attention to detail Problem-solving skills that will allow you to adopt a logical, step-by-step process to working with software systems and building solutions The skillset to engage in detailed, in-depth analysis of legal contracts and client processes to design step-by-step workflows that automate legal drafting, compliance and business intelligence
