The IIE Vega, Durban Campus has a vacancy for a Part-Time Lecturer in UX and Digital Design for the 2025 academic year.

Competencies Required:
Excellent communication (written and verbal)
Passion for customer service
Demonstrated ability to manage work and self proactively
Organisational and time management skills
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
An Honours or Professional 4-year degree in Digital Design, Interaction Design, Information Design or Multimedia or a relevant design degree with certification as a UX Designer.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
You must have at least 2 years of industry experience working as a UX or Interaction Designer.
Working Conditions:
Please note that this is an Independent Contractor (part-time) role.
Working Hours:
Lectures take place Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:30 – specific days and times depend on the timetable for the specific module(s).
Salary:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience and hours worked.
