Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics or equivalent
Persons applying for the position with a BTech: Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics will be considered for the position of Clinical Instructor should no applicants with Master's Degree apply.
A minimum of 3 years' work experience as an Orthotist or Prosthetist.
HPCSA registration in Orthotics and Prosthetics

Experience in training of students in Clinical Practice.
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Networking and leadership skills.
Proficiency in scientific writing and communications skills.
A motivated self-starter, responsible and accountable individual and a team player.
Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet and email use.
Registered or ready to register for a Master Degree.
Summary of Duties:
Undertake practical training and assessment.
Conduct student practicals.
Co-ordinate Clinical Practice.
Monitor student's progress in Clinical Practice.
Co-ordinate and invigilate theoretical assessments.
Ensure quality control in the Laboratory, as well as manage the day-to-day running of the laboratory.
Supervise, train and assess undergraduate students in the Laboratory.
Co-ordinate and manage work preparedness programme for students.
Co-ordinate discretionary clinical grant.
Communicate with students through traditional and online mediums.
Involve in community engagement projects.
Undertake any additional duties assigned by HOD.
Work collegially with team members towards attaining the goals of the department, faculty and institution.
