Job Purpose: To support the faculty and department in pursuit of its academic and research objectives which include: teaching according to a set syllabus; undertake research and innovation; contribute to curriculum development and design; engage in work integrated learning, Open Day to recruit Students, and service learning activities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
A Master's Degree in Information Technology, Multimedia Technologies, Computer Science, Web Design and Development, or Design and Digital MediaAt least two (2) years' relevant Lecturing experienceRecommendations:
The candidate must show expertise in several of the following technologies relating to Multimedia namely:Relevant Industry ExperienceExposure to Program and Curriculum DevelopmentAt least One (1) publication in an accredited journal or conference proceedingsKey Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities:
Lectures subjects within the field of Information and Communication TechnologyPerform appropriate academic and administrative duties in the DepartmentParticipate in the Quality Assurance activities of the DepartmentParticipate in research: supervision and undergraduate research projectsContribute to community initiatives by integrating community interventions into curriculum.Develop and maintain linkages with industry and professional bodies on co-operative education, new techniques/technologies and research projectsAssist with marketing and recruitment activitiesPerform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of DepartmentGood organizing & planning skillsAdministrative SkillsTechnical/Professional knowledgeInterpersonal SkillsStrong Learner focusCoaching SkillsHigh level presentation skillsClosing Date: 21 July 2024
