Preference will be given to applications with sufficient background in Indigenous Knowledge Systems. The targeted applicants must have at least 70%, preferably a female, black South African, Coloured, or Indian candidates. nGAP aims to improve the academic staffing capacity of South African universities and contribute to the transformation of the academic staff profile. nGAP employees will participate in a six-year developmental programme and are expected to register for and complete their doctoral studies, participate in the DHET's Staffing South Africa's Universities Development Programme, and work under the supervision of an appointed mentor.APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:A MASTER'S DEGREE WITH AN ACADEMIC AVERAGE OF 70% FOR THE MASTER'S DEGREE. PROOF OF RESULTS MUST BE ATTACHED TO THE APPLICATION.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe nGAP position at lecturer level will be part of the academic staff at the IKS Centre and will teach modules in the BIKS programme.
