KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Research and development Publish in accredited journals, conference proceedings, research mentorship, serve in research committees and bodies.
Supervision: Postgraduates' supervision.
Teaching: The teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Grant proposal: Sourcing of research fund.
3rd stream income: Introduction of 3rd stream income.
Curriculum development: Course development and curriculum.
Management and marketing: Assist in the management activities of the school and stakeholder relation
Minimum requirements A master's degree in Tourism Management (NQF level 9). A minimum of 3 (three) years' relevant work experience in lecturing.
RECOMMENDATION / ADDED ADVANTAGE: Studying towards a PhD degree in Tourism Management in an advanced stage (NQF level 10). A minimum of 2 (two) years' relevant work experience in the tourism industry.
