Seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer specializing in Programming and Software Development.
This role focuses on delivering cutting-edge instruction in programming languages, software development methodologies, and modern technologies while mentoring the next generation of tech innovators.
Minimum Requirements:
Completed Honours degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with a focus on programming and software development.
Currently pursuing Masters with the goal of obtaining a PhD.
Hands-on experience with programming languages, frameworks, and tools, including web, mobile, cloud, and database development, as well as operating systems.
1 or more years of corporate/ working experience in IT Development/ Programming.
2 or more years of lecturing/ mentoring or Learning and development experience specific to IT and including IT Development/ Programming.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lecture IT-related modules both online and face-to-face.
Marking and moderation of IT-related assessments.
Assist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures.
Champion/lead and manage academic development and support for the IT program and its students.
Track student success and implement support interventions where required.
Promote a culture of scholarship within thier discipline, and the campus as a whole and contribute towards the achievement of annual research output targets.
