Lecturer - IT (JB4919)Westville, DurbanR30 000 - R35 000 CTC per monthProvident Fund, Medical Aid, BursaryPermanentSeeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer specializing in Programming and Software Development.This role focuses on delivering cutting-edge instruction in programming languages, software development methodologies, and modern technologies while mentoring the next generation of tech innovators.Minimum Requirements:Completed Honours degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with a focus on programming and software development.Currently pursuing Masters with the goal of obtaining a PhD.Hands-on experience with programming languages, frameworks, and tools, including web, mobile, cloud, and database development, as well as operating systems.1 or more years of corporate/ working experience in IT Development/ Programming.2 or more years of lecturing/ mentoring or Learning and development experience specific to IT and including IT Development/ Programming.Duties and Responsibilities:Lecture IT-related modules both online and face-to-face.Marking and moderation of IT-related assessments.Assist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures.Champion/lead and manage academic development and support for the IT program and its students.Track student success and implement support interventions where required.Promote a culture of scholarship within thier discipline, and the campus as a whole and contribute towards the achievement of annual research output targets.Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.IMPORTANT: We specialize in specific niche fields.
