As a Lecturer in Business you will provide exceptional instruction in various business disciplines, including management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering course materials, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, and guiding students through complex business concepts. You will also engage in research activities, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in academic and professional communities. Your insights and experience will help shape the next generation of business leaders. We require you to be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Responsibilities: All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met, using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials. Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate. Manage and lead modules/units. Keep up to date with subject-specific and pedagogic innovations. As part of a team, play a full and pro-active part in engaging and retaining students. Attend meetings as required, to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within the various teams you will be engaged with. Actively be involved in staff development activities and peer observations. Minimum Requirements: You will hold qualifications at least to master's level in the relevant subject area (e.g., business, entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, finance etc.) and will ideally hold a PhD or be able to demonstrate equivalent high level professional experience in the discipline. Good knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Business and Entrepreneurship Management/Leadership HRM Strategy Project Management Marketing Finance Previous lecturing experience in similar environments. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Desirable: Teaching qualifications/accreditation: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice or FHEA etc. Experience of working in the industry of your subject areas. Strong applicants from industry must be able to demonstrate ability to teach at university level.
