The IIE Varsity College, Nelson Mandela Bay campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (Part-Time) for the following modules for the 2025 academic year: 1st semester Victimology in South Africa (VISA6221) 2nd semester Selected Contemporary Crime Issues (ISCI6212) Key Performance Areas: Lecturing preparation Lecturing Marking Student support Competencies Required: Communication skills Organisational skills Time management Minimum Education Requirements: A Bachelor of Arts Honours or Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice. Minimum Experience Required: Lecturing experience, preferably two years lecturing experience in the discipline of Criminology. Work experience ideally in one or other field related to forensic criminology, research, criminology, forensic analysis, victim empowerment, and correctional services. Working Conditions: Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role. Position is contracted for six months (Jan 2025 – December 2025). Position is part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays. Classes are conducted face-to-face on campus.
