Minimum requirements:
PhD in History or History Education and a professional teacher's qualification with History as a teaching subject.
Experience in teaching History and History Education subject methodology at school and/or tertiary level is preferable.
Evidence of an emerging research, supervision and a publication record is an advantage.
Duties:
The successful candidate is required to teach History and History Education at undergraduate level, in the PGCE programme and at post-graduate level. An understanding of Critical Theory and Decolonisation Theories and debates for postgraduate teaching is required.
