The IIE Varsity College Pietermaritzburg Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer (part-time) in the Faculty of Humanities for the following module in the first semester of 2025: Design Thinking and Problem-Solving (DTPS5111)Competencies Required:Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent presentation skillsAssertiveness and dynamismUnderstanding of customer service in educationDemonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactivelyMinimum Education Requirements: A Bachelor degree in Digital Design/Media/Graphic Design/MultimediaAlternatively: A Bachelor degree in one of the Digital Graphic/Media/Multimedia related fields with digital graphics or a similarly related field to the third-year level.Minimum Experience Required: Lecturing experience in digital graphics/digital design/multimediaPrevious lecturing experience within a tertiary environment is advantageous.Work experience as a graphics designer/digital animator/multimedia in a related graphical design environment.Working Conditions: Please note that this is an Independent Contractor role.Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
