CORE PURPOSE: To provide Academic Leadership across a range of Undergraduate/Postgraduate education programmes. CORE FUNCTIONS: Module Coordinator for area of specialisation (SME)To facilitate face-to-face and online lecturesDevelop, review and moderate curriculum and assessmentsProvide Academic consultation supportGrade assessments and provide stakeholder feedbackUndertake programme and module reviewsActive involvement in research and publishingSupervise postgraduate researchIdentify students at-risk and execute pastoral careUndertake programme and quality management administrative tasksQUALIFICATION(S):An appropriate Master or Post Grad qualification in Marketing Management or Digital MarketingEXPERIENCE:5 years Academic ExperienceDemonstrate research engagement over the last 3 yearsRELATED KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:Be familiar with higher, distance and online educationBe familiar with using Learning Management SystemsHave a working knowledge of the South African Higher Education Regulatory FrameworkMust be able to work within pre-determined time frames and deadlineMust be able to speak confidently and demonstrate professionalismMust be a collegial team playerProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Internet and Email)Excellent writing and reporting skillsPossess a high level of ethics and confidentiality
