Minimum Education Requirements:
Ideal:
Master (NQF level 9) qualification in Criminology and/or Criminal
Post-graduate Diploma, Masters (MA/MPhil) or Doctorate (PhD/DPhil) in Sociology.
Alternatively:
A Bachelor of Arts Honours or Bachelor of Social Science Honours in Sociology with specialization in Political Studies
Minimum Requirement: An Honors or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF level 8 qualification) in Criminology.
Minimum Experience Required:
Preferably two years of lecturing experience in the discipline of Sociology, Psychology, and/or Criminology. Work experience ideally in one or other field related to politics, forensic criminology, research, criminologist, forensic analyst, victim empowerment, correctional services, or a qualification in child or youth care and related fields.
