The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa, and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campusis seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies department for the following lecturing role:Brand Management 2B: Developing Markets and Consumer BehavioursJob Purpose:The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.Key Performance Areas:Lecturing/FacilitationMarkingStudent supportCompetencies Required:Communications skillsOrganisational skillsTime managementMinimum Qualification Requirements:Ideal:Honours or Master's in Brand Leadership, Branding, or Marketing, with evidence of completing Marketing or Branding up to or at least at third-year level in undergraduate qualification that included consumer behaviour and development of markets.Alternatively:HEQSF 9 qualification that includes a branding or marketing component.Marketing and/or branding should have, at a minimum, been completed within HEQSF 7 and 8 qualifications.Minimum Work Experience Requirements:Industry experience in commerce.Lecturing experience in Market Development and/ or Consumer Behaviour or related disciplines of Brand Strategy; Brand Management; Marketing Management.Industry experience in a brand or marketing management context is essential.Working Conditions:Please note that this is an Independent Contractor roleOwing to the volume of CVs received, we may not be able to personally contact all applicants.
