Learning Experience Designer (Part-Time Contractor Role)

This role is instrumental in crafting engaging and effective online learning experiences that drive operational excellence in supply chains worldwide.  We are seeking a Learning Developer with a background in instructional design and online learning development.
The ideal candidate will support our Learning and Development team by creating interactive online modules, developing assessments, and writing scripts for educational content.  This role will require 2-3 days of work per week, either remotely or on-site depending on the project's needs.
The position is an independent contractor/consultant role with an initial 6-month scope and the potential for extension.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: 1.
Content Development and Scriptwriting:  Develop clear, engaging scripts for video content in collaboration with subject matter experts, ensuring content aligns with learning objectives.  Design formative and summative assessments that effectively gauge learner progress and retention.  Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all learning materials, aligning with CCi's brand and standards.  Contribute to cross-functional L&D projects, supporting the development of comprehensive blended learning pathways.  2.
Module and Video Development:  Draft, design, and develop online learning modules using Articulate Rise, Storyline, and other authoring tools.  Leverage video production tools like Synthesia and Vyond to create dynamic, learner-centered videos that support varied learning styles.  Use authoring tools to incorporate interactive elements, such as quizzes, branching scenarios, and simulations, to enhance learner engagement.  Apply learning design principles to create meaningful, user-centered experiences that facilitate knowledge retention and practical application.  3.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:  Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with learning objectives.  Iterate and improve content based on stakeholder feedback to maintain alignment with objectives and enhance learner engagement.  Participate in project team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.  Qualifications:  Experience: Minimum of 3 years in developing online learning solutions, including at least 2 years in scriptwriting and content development.  Education: Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.  Skills:  Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools like Articulate 360.  Strong understanding of learning design principles and adult learning theories.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Familiarity with video production tools such as Synthesia and Vyond.  Experience designing interactive elements, including quizzes, simulations, and branching scenarios.  Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
