Job Description Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a L&D Partner to join their team based in Midrand. The main purpose of this role is to provide responsive, effective, and efficient learning and development services to allocated categories. Be responsible for the maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes.
Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 – Matric or Senior Certificate3 years working experience in Learning and DevelopmentRelevant HR undergraduate qualificationKey Responsibilities: Learning Delivery: Identify and assess training needs through needs/skills gaps analysis, career pathing, and engagement with managers.Develop and implement training initiatives to support career development, succession planning, talent development, and leadership programs.Manage training activities ensuring adherence to policies and targets.Address learning requirements from management, align with L&D budget, and ensure effective learning delivery.Engage and implement learnerships and graduate programmes.Partner with managers and subject matter experts to assess training needs and propose implementation projects.Keep abreast of industry trends and legislative requirements.Provide recommendations to business by identifying trends and feedback on success factors, risks, and gaps.Assist in the accurate delivery of the learning curriculum to increase performance and ROI.Partner with Learning Administrators to ensure successful training coordination and delivery.Monitor learning work-back obligations for Internships, Learnerships, and Graduate programmes.Provide input into learning policies and annual budget preparations.Track ROI on all programmes and compile reports as required.Stakeholder Management: Develop collaborative relationships throughout the business to support growth and strategic objectives.Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders through consultation and understanding their requirements.Gather manager feedback and evaluate employee readiness to identify appropriate training interventions.Reporting & Compliance: Capture and consolidate training information for SETA, BBBEE, and other compliance reports.Build a strong relationship with the skills development facilitator to ensure compliance.Administer Learnerships, Internships, and Graduate programmes to ensure compliance with SETA requirements.Consolidate and submit comprehensive monthly training reports to Managers and Senior Managers.Competencies: End-to-end Learning & Development Cycle.Retail Industry knowledge.SETA and BBBEE Compliance.Timely, informed decision-making.Effective communication and presentation skills.Team cooperation and commitment to achieve goals.Attention to quality and standards.Adaptability to changing business needs.Ability to cope with pressure.Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, SAP, LMS.Special Conditions of Employment: South African citizenship.MIE, clear criminal and credit record.Driver's license and own reliable transport.Occasional local travel.Remuneration and Benefits: Market Related Salary
