Overview As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance within our organization.
Collaborating with various stakeholders, you'll design, implement, and facilitate effective learning programs, with a focus on continuous improvement to keep our workforce competitive and adaptable.
Additionally, you will take ownership of the new Learning Management System (LMS) implemented by the group.
Responsibilities Training Program Design and Delivery: Apply best practice learning methodologies to create engaging training content.Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and e-learning modules.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and relevant content. Training Administration: Coordinate training events, including scheduling, logistics, and materials.Manage training calendars and registration systems.Handle SETA (Sector Education and Training Authority) administration. Performance Evaluation: Assess training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.Monitor training completion rates and track training hours.Provide regular reports on L&D metrics. Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with HR, managers, and employees to identify training needs.Build strong relationships with internal teams to align L&D initiatives with business goals. Budget Management: Track training budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.Optimize resources to achieve maximum impact. Assess the Change Complexity Conduct an initial assessment on the change impact Plan and Execute the Change Management Process:
Manage the step-by-step activities required to transition end users Engage Stakeholders at All Levels Work directly with users to address concerns, foster adoption, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and Reinforce Adoption Track progress and create reinforcement mechanisms to sustain changes Requirements Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.Proven experience in designing and delivering effective training programs.Knowledge of SETA processes and regulations.Change Management Frameworks and MethodologiesStakeholder Engagement and Communication Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
