QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE o Tertiary Qualification in HRD or HRM o SDF Certification o 3-5 Years experience in planning and coordinating training interventions at national level o 3-5 years experience on BEE123 System o 3-5 years experience in HR and BBBEE audits o 3-5 years experience in grant applications MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED o Proven track record as a competent Learning and Development Specialist o Strong Project management skills o The ability to manage multiple projects o Knowledge and understanding of labour and skills related legislations o Strong understanding of SETA and QCTO process o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (able to communicate with all levels from blue collar to white collar) o Problem-solving aptitude ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SKILLS DEVELOPMENT FACILITATION o Conduct skills audit at national level. o Consolidate and timeously submit annual skills matrix for approval. o Prepare and submit WSP and ATR as per SETA requirements. o Ensure that all Grant applications are submitted on time. o Establish relationships with SETA and QCTO. o Plan and coordinate all learnerships, skills programmers, and on-the-job training interventions o Successfully plan, coordinate and administer all training interventions o Implement the Skills/Competency Framework for the business o Develop training materials for in house trainings (HR trainings) o Oversee individual employee development plans. TALENT MANAGEMENT o Oversee the onboarding programme (Pre-induction, Induction and Post induction of new employees) o Pilot Individual Development Plans and Performance Improvement Plans (Appraisal approach) o Implement Talent succession strategies (Participate in strategy formulation and implementation) o Ensure successful implementation of the Internship and Learnership programme o Collaborate with the HR manager in creating and maintaining the Career Portal and LMS for the business o Collaborate with the HR manager in driving talent succession and talent heat mapping interventions o Collaborate with the HR manager in developing the Learning and Development Library CULTURE AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT o Collaborate with the HR Manager in driving a high-performance culture. o Continuously embed the company VALUES . o Develop and implement the employee wellness calendar o Implement Employee Engagement themes and activities o Champion REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE o Timeously submit training reports Monthly, Quarterly and Annually. o Collaborate with the HR and Risk Managers in preparing the annual Training budgets o Collaborate with the HR manager in achieving BBBEE targets o Collaborate with the HR manager in managing all Training related audits
