Détails de l'annonce Poste proposé : Leadership Training Expert The African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Fund toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project for Public Financial Governance – Phase II (RISPFG) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to payments under the contract for Leadership Training Expert.
The services included under this project are :
Focus: defining individual, subunit, departmental and organizational goals clearly. How to lead teams and complete set goals and intended objectives in propelling the institution to a world-class beacon of excellenceCommunication: how to influence and get buy in from othersPrioritising, planning, and delegating how to stay in control through prioritizing, planning and delegation through various possibilitiesConflict resolution: how to ensure there is harmony in the group without stifling the opinions of staff or imposing her own biasesInspiring and motivating staff so that officers under their supervision will remain productive and target oriented to improve institutional capacity and professionalismMentorship and succession planning: how to groom other lead. Profil recherché pour le poste : Leadership Training Expert The Individual expert is expected to have among others the following qualifications and key competencies :
A Master's degree or equivalent in Taxation, Accounting, Political sciences, Law, Business administration, Economics and any other related fieldMinimum 5 - 10 years of demonstrated work experience in auditing, analysis of policy and regulatory framework, tax investigations, tax crime analysis and utilisation of legally sound risk methodologies and technologies to mitigate compliance and operational risksIn depth knowledge of auditing the financial sector, with specific emphasis on the insurance sectorExperience in the provision of technical assistance in an international organisationDemonstrated experience in providing technical assistance relating to auditing and tax administration, and have a broad understanding of the socio-economic dynamics of African countriesShould have good knowledge of the tax systems in AfricaGood report writing, communication and presentation skillsGood command of the written and spoken English, and fluency in French and Portuguese is an added advantageComputer literacyExcellent strategic and analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are added advantages.
