Conduct all SmartStart Training Programmes Effective Training of SmartStart Training Programmes Perform the function of Lead Trainer when training with unaccredited Trainers. Evaluate the effectiveness of training Provide the Training manager with detailed and accurate written reports after every training session. Maintain accurate training records and complete all necessary administrative duties timeously. Effective planning and preparation before training to ensure the quality of training delivery. Effective piloting of SmartStart programmes and provide feedback to the programme design team for reviews where necessary Self-reflects during and after training Collaborate with other departments in HUB events/activities Trainer support and Co-trainer development Provide support and facilitate assistance for new trainers. Prepare and plan for co trainer development trainings and execute training sessions Conduct developmental feedback sessions with co-trainers after each training sessions Reporting on the peer feedback observation forms Provide support to all trainers within the SmartStart training network. Training team administration Support in preparing and travel bookings for the trainer gatherings/reviews and updates Helps in distributing new updates materials to trainers Support in any training team admin Administering trainers database and training materials Support in update the trainers database Prepare and provide newly accredited Lead Trainers with training kit consisting of Branding, Flipchart stand and a lead training suitcase Maintain an up to date training materials stock replenishment spreadsheet and provide requests for stock replenishment where necessary Support in conducting a training materials stock count with trainers twice a year and replenish where necessary Work closely with Operations department regarding the issuing of trainers training materials and branding RequirementsPerson SpecificationQualifications & ExperienceMatric and /or equivalent qualification Tertiary Qualification Certificate in ECD will be an added advantage Assessor qualification will be an added advantage At least 3 years' experience in training programmes facilitation Abilities, Skills, And AttributesStrong working knowledge of the ECD sector Strong administration skills Very good attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Teamwork and collaboration Excellent and detailed reporting skills Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues at all levels -both internally and externally Relationship building skills Manage time effectively and meet deadlines
