LEAD SOMATOLOGIST/IN-HOUSE TRAINER MIDLANDS , KwaZulu Natal (ZA) START: A.S.A.P / 01 December 2024 TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS Monday - Sunday 07:00 AM - 18:30 PM (Shifts apply & will rotate every 2nd week) 2x Weekends ON / 2x Weekends OFF REPORT TO: Owner SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS: R15,000 - R20,000 per month (BOE) Commission Tips / Gratuities Single Accommodation available (cottage with bedroom, kitchenette, living room & bathroom) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: South African citizen ] CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation DIPLOMA in Somatology or Health & Skin Care (minimum 2-year diploma) Training OR managerial experience desired - both is a bonus Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist Confident retailer Excellent leadership qualities EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years industry experience in a day spa or resort Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Confident and skilled in all standard SOMATOLOGY services (Skin Care, Body Care, Grooming & Wellness) Offer induction training to all new staff Offer staff regular updated skills development Assist owner with managerial duties where applicable Manage the team in the absence of the owner / manager Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly Confidently re-book clients where applicable Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world Offer guests a holistic, professional approach to well-being
