As a Lead Software Engineer you will:
Develop high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end applications.
Collaborate extensively with system engineers, product owners, subject matter experts and various product stakeholders to create unique products.
Implement solutions that are aligned with our future and extend shared platforms.
Your responsibilities include:
Capturing system level requirements by brainstorming with Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses & Product Managers.
Demonstrating the understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and able to distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle.
Engaging in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding.
Executing in a fast pace delivery mode and focus in delivering tasks to meet the product release goal.
Demonstrating the ability to make informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.
Articulating the need for scalability and understand the importance of improving quality through testing.
Being an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
Working with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision.
Providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and a minimum 6 years of professional experience.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles.
Have strong Back end .Net / .Net Core programming skills using C# and Python on multiple platforms.
Hands-on experience in web services (REST, SOAP, WSDL etc.), using SQL Database.
Hands-on experience in utilizing Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration and Data).
Experience with Linux Systems, C++ programming and/or IoT environments is beneficial.
Experience with SQL Databases.
Experience with Play framework, Angular or Vue preferably.
Flexible working patterns:
A full-time office-based role for the first 3 months.
Hybrid role thereafter.
