Senior / Lead SAP Data Migration ConsultantOur client, a specialist data consultancy that helps global SAP clientele master their data, is looking for a Senior / Lead SAP Data Migration Consultant to their team. The Senior/Lead Data Migration Consultant plays a key role on the project team by driving deliverables and resolving process and technical issues. They ensure that the project tasks continue to address the needs of the client, fit within the overall scope of the project, and are completed on time.Required skills and experienceBSc or BCom (Information systems) degree or equivalent in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Programming, Computer Science and/or a Finance/Accounting degree or equivalent. Alternatively, experience in the above mentioned fields which created a basic framework of the field.A minimum of 5 years' Data Migration project experience within a SAP environment and exposure to a minimum of 3 full life cycle projects.Advanced functional knowledge and minimum of 3 year's Data Migration experience working with Finance master data objects (profit centre, cost centre, cost element, G/L account, asset master).Working knowledge of material and BP objects.Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Very good interpersonal and communication skills.ResponsibilitiesDevelops a solution framework and an implementation plan for industry specific projects or projects using the company's tools.Highlight critical integration considerations.Overall responsibility for analysis and resolution of data validity issues.Facilitate collaboration between Business, Functional and Migration teams.Conducts strategic level workshops and gather requirements with clients to drive a solution for acceptance and implementation.Continually reports progress, and manage, coach and support project team.Oversee and own all technical documentation for Migration development.Involved with the Project Manager in drafting the project plan (scope, deliverables, timelines and resources), identifying and recruiting team members, and preparing and assisting in the preparation of individual work plans.Assist in business development activities (providing proposal inputs, system demos etc). Participate in pre-project activities, such as defining client opportunities, determining scope, and formulating the approach to address the client challenges.GeneralReports to the Resource & Delivery director.Hybrid working arrangement.Travel will be required.Note:Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
