What you'll do:We are seeking a highly experienced Lead GoLang Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GoLang and experience building scalable systems as well as an affinity for cryptography and mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems using GoWork on zkEVM Prover implementation and its integration within Linea's architectureContribute to the architectural decision process of LineaParticipate in all aspects of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, and testingTroubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during development and productionPrepare and execute backend migrations involving the proverStay current with new technologies and industry trends related to Go, Docker, and AWSPrepare the open-sourcing of Linea's proverEnsure the best practices of code quality and security are applied in the code baseQualifications:Strong experience with GoLang and distributed systemsExperience with developing using ZKP, SNARK, or STARK technologiesExperience with working on open-source projects and fostering open collaborationExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and HelmStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsMust have a good sense of pragmatismExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesMaster's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with other languages and technologies such as Solidity, TypeScript, Java, and/or Kotlin is a plusExperience with low-level programming and HPC is a plusThis is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
