Job Description:
Develop and lead a cohesive electrical design team, optimizing performance and collaboration
Build strong customer relationships to prioritize design resource allocation and ensure efficient utilization based on requirements
Delegate tasks effectively and manage project timelines, addressing deviations promptly
Provide leadership to design engineers, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards
Organize internal and external design reviews to validate technical soundness and integrity
Perform CAD tasks, including 3D modeling and 2D drawings, while maintaining accurate product data in customer PDM systems
Support custom engineering requests and oversee administrative tasks such as performance reviews, mentorship, and training
Skills & Experience:
Over 15 years of post-graduate engineering design experience.
Wiring design and controller integration within the heavy-duty machinery, electrical design field exposure would be highly advantageous.
Willingness to travel internationally for varying durations based on project needs and deadlines
Qualification:
BEng, BSc, or B-Tech degree in Electrical Engineering
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
