Laundryman

Job Title: Laundryman
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, sort, and wash all crew and guest laundry according to company standards
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Ensure all laundry is properly labeled and returned to the correct owner
- Keep accurate records of all laundry requests and inventory levels
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs for laundry equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry room at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while handling and storing laundry chemicals
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, including cleaning guest cabins and public areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a laundry or housekeeping role, preferably in a maritime or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Physically able to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for long periods of time
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
