Laser Cut Operator

Job Description Schedule jobs on the machine using cost saving method Organize workstation and manage workflow to meet the production goal programs, set up, operate and maintain the laser cut machine Monitor the laser cut machine during operation Make adjustments to the speed and intensity to meet the requirements of the parts Check all parts for quality, accuracy and precision Package and label the finished parts and update the Jira system Monitor sheet metal, gas and consumables stock levels Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot laser cut machine issues.
Keep the records of each production Assist with other profiling department duties where needed Qualifications Grade 12 (Matric) 2-3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machine Additional Information Key skills required: Mechanical ability and attention to detail  Problem-solving skills Computer skills Strong organizational skills Willingness and ability to do repetitive tasks Self-motivated with a desire to learn quicker and grow Ability to stand for long hours Forklift license (advantageous) Correspondence will only be conducted with shortlisted candidates.
