Apply now to join their dedicated team and contribute to their success.Key Responsibilities:Printer Operation: Handle large format solvent, latex, and inkjet printers; UV flatbed printers; and sheet-fed digital colour and black & white machines.Job Preparation: Pre-flight, impose, and rip jobs for large format printers.Colour Management: Adjust colours for accuracy and consistency.Machine Monitoring: Oversee digital printing machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of printing machines.Vendor Coordination: Arrange repairs and order parts and consumables.Inventory Management: Order and maintain large format stock and consumables.Finishing Tasks: Execute finishing tasks including application, weeding, and cutting.Customer Assistance: Assist walk-in customers and handle general finishing tasks related to the press and print process.Experience & Skills Required:Experience: Minimum 2 years of operating large format printers.Software Proficiency: Imposition and rip software experience (VersaWorks, Onyx, United Fancy), and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Education: Minimum matric qualification.Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of both litho and digital printing processes and terminology.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined and adept at technical tasks.Customer Interaction: Confident in interacting with customers and suppliers.Stress Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Reliability: Dependable and consistent in performance.
