Land Surveyor

Job Title: Land Surveyor Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring and outlining land boundaries and other physical features to assist in the development of infrastructure projects and land improvements. The Land Surveyor will use a variety of tools and technologies, such as GPS, total stations, and geographic information systems (GIS), to collect, analyze, and interpret data in order to produce detailed maps and reports. Requirements · Must have a degree in Land Surveying or Geomatics · Professional Land Surveyor license or registered · More than 5-year experience surveying land must have worked in the Gauteng region · Must be proficient with surveying tools and software · Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant technical software · Must be aware of pertinent laws and guidelines · Must have experience in working in civil engineering projects · Have strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills · Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Must be able to work both independently and in a team · Strong teamwork and leadership abilities · Valid driver's license Responsibilities: · Conduct land surveys using a variety of surveying instruments and equipment · Compute exact measurements and establish property boundaries · Produce maps, charts, and reports of survey results for clients · Supervise and train staff as needed · Ensure compliance with surveying regulations and standards · Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on projects
