Laminator/Assembler - Hand Lay-Up Fittings

JOB DESCRIPTIONNOV is hiring at our Sand Springs location! The Laminator/Assembler fabricates or assembles component fiberglass parts to create finished product while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures. This position will involve hand fabricating or assembly of fiberglass pipe fittings utilizing wet resin and fiberglass material. This position will involve sanding and cutting fiberglass pipe/fittings and assembly of fiberglass fittings.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOperates equipment needed to perform jobMaintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly conditionUtilize safe work habitsWear appropriate PPEComply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and proceduresComply with all HSE policies, guidelines and proceduresComply with all Quality policies, guidelines and proceduresOther duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTSAbility to work overtime and shift work as required.Standing up to 12 hours daily.Walking up to 12 hours daily.Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily.Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.Lifting (weights up to 50 lbs.) regularly.Travel less than 10%.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONSExperience with measurement tools is preferred.Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.Capable of reading blueprints.Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.We offer a competitive benefits package starting first date of employment that includes: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K savings plan, paid time-off, and starting at 3 weeks of vacation!For more specifics, please visit our benefits page here.
