Job Purpose: The person will be required to provide professional technical support to meet the needs of the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Grade 12. A National Diploma/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is recommended.Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in a tertiary institution.Knowledge and experience in electrical systems, workshop machines, and fault-finding of electrical and computer systems.Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities:
Schedule, coordinate and participate in projects as required by the electrical department.Maintenance and repair of lab equipment and consumables in line with the department's requirements.Active engagement in training and career development.Assist staff and students with academic and industrial projects.Provide appropriate academic and laboratory support.Any additional departmental duties as assigned by the HoD.General Information:
