Lab Analyst

Minimum Requirements:Grade 12Chemistry or related Diploma/DegreeAt least 5 years lab analyst experienceUnderstanding stats rules relating to a labHPLC experienceOwn transportWilling and able to work shifts (7pm to 7am - weekly rotation) Duties and Responsibilities:Calibration of apparatusMaintain the QMS in lab according to Good Documentation, Manufacturing and Laboratory Practises.Prepare reagents according to SOPDocument relevant info: reference method, measured pH, tempPrepare raw data according to ALCOAEnsure productivity in the lab by sticking to lead timesEnsure lab operates safelyWorkstations must be kept tidyHealth and Safety policy must be followedVerify calibration date and available standardsParticipate in laboratory safety procedures as required by management.Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management or the employerConduct analytical tasks:Chromatographic analysisDissolution testingIR testingUV testingTitrationsPhysical tests using appropriate apparatusValidation of analytical methodsMethod development and validation in collaboration with senior analysts and laboratory managementCompleting of applicable logbooks in the laboratory PLEASE NOTE: Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
