Purpose of Position: To perform general administrative duties and specimen logistics in the laboratory.
Requirements: Certificate: Office Administration, Grade 12 Required Experience: Experience in a medical environmentKnowledge of Meditech systemKnowledge of compiling management reports to follow up outstanding results and specimensKnowledge of the operation regarding the Immunology specimen storage system Key Responsibilities: Maintain good client relations in order to promote the image of AmpathPerform administrative functions in order to ensure optimal functioningPerform general laboratory tasks in order to ensure relevant safety and accreditation standards are maintainedPerform specimen management related tasks such as receiving, aliquoting, storage and tracing of specimen to ensure sufficient processing of specimen Applicants must have a South African ID or a valid South African work permit.
