Kyc Verifications Officer

An exciting opportunity awaits for a KYC Verification Officer to join the Mukuru team in Cape Town! In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the KYC Verification Team Leader, helping to ensure compliance and build trust with our clients. Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Verify and validate documentation and information supplied by customers when signing up for new accounts.Guide customers that are rejected on how to be verified, via call, chat, or email.Merge duplicate profiles.Keep up to date on any process and regulatory changes.Report any suspicious activities on customer accounts.Aid the verification team as and when required.Uphold and maintain daily and monthly targets.Provide good customer service.Uphold the company brand.Manage own professional and self-development.Key Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).2 years KYC experience (Essential).Speaking, writing, and reading of English (Essential).Knowledge of money transfer procedures.Knowledge of KYC regulations.Knowledge of AML and fraud.Knowledge of KYC rules and processes.Additional Skills: Computer skills.Typing skills.Telephone skills.Verbal and written communication skills.Organisational & administrative skills.Attention to detail.Interpersonal skills.Problem-solving skills.If you do not receive any response after two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
