Knowledge Management Assistant (Junior)

Responsibilities:- File and retrieve documents from the archive and library- Capture and update project document information on library database.
Scan project documents and drawings as required.- Maintain library database (Libwin) (i.e.
loans register, monthly overdue notices, capturing of journals holdings as delivered and follow-up on non-delivery).- File library books and Journals daily.
Circulate Journals according to circulation list.- Proactive information dissemination.- Assist with the finding of relevant tenders as well as articles in the newspapers and journals mentioning the company.- Open projects and assign access to Projectwise system.- Contact new employees to take photographs for intranet.Qualifications & Experience:- A degree or diploma in Library and Information Science or Archiving or relevant experience- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a specialist Library environmentRequirements:- MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / MS Project) Libwin, Sharepoint- MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / MS Project)- Excellent typing skills (high level of accuracy required)- Excellent communication skills- Excellent interpersonal skills- Experience working on/knowledge of Libwin, SharePoint, online searching and archive work will be advantageous.
