Job title/position: Knowledge Analyst & Researcher Number of positions: 1 Function and Business Unit: Infrastructure: Clients & Markets Description of the role and purpose of the job: The purpose the position is to participate in Knowledge Management and Research projects with efficiency and technical competence.
The successful candidate will provide company and competitor research support across all sectors.
Key responsibilities: • Provide assistance and research support to Sector leaders and teams • Harvest key business content from various sector and solution areas for upload to central platforms for re-use and easy access.
• Maintain sector portal areas with current information.
• Compile research reports to be shared with management and teams.
• Drive and execute the Research tools training plan and calendar in order to promote internal usage of various research platforms.
• Manage content architecture for assigned content areas design and build knowledge channels around assigned content areas to facilitate easy access to relevant knowledge and/or expertise • Collaborate across various business areas in order to support the clients & markets team in executing various sector and solution digital marketing plans.
Skills and attributes required for the role: Skills:• Ability to develop requirements based on leadership input • Knowledge of information architecture • Strong understanding of content management and content strategy principles (experience in content management, metadata and taxonomies) • Strong project management skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills Personal attributes:• The ability to build collaborative relationships with good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to team members and colleagues with differing levels of expertise and skills while championing inclusion and diversity • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • Team player who is self-aware • High level of attention to detail and a desire to drive quality • Ability to analyse and disseminate complicated information into usable, easy-to-digest components • Able to perform with minimal supervision with proactive work style Minimum requirements to apply for the role (including qualifications and experience): • Bachelor's Degree in Information Science and/or Knowledge Management and/or Informatics or equivalent degree • 3 to 5 years' experience in a Knowledge Management/Research related field will be beneficial.
