Kitchen Manager

A new and exciting restaurant based in George Western Cape is seeking an experienced kitchen manager to join its team.

This person will be paid an hourly wage of between R50 - R60 per hour equating to approximately R12000.00 - R15000.00 per month.

This person will be responsible for management of the entire kitchen and its team.
Placing of orders
Conducting weekly stocktake
Ensure recipe file is followed and proeuct specs are maintained
Control wastage
Implement portion control
Understand foodcost & ways to minimise foodcost
Understand yield percentages
Address daily stock variances
Conduct daily prep sheet counts
Conduct regular kitchen cleaning & implement cleaning schedules
Plan staff shift roster

Please note that this vacancy is situated in George Western Cape. Candidates from alother areas are welcome, however relocation would be required.
