Kitchen Executive Manager - Luxury Beach Resort, Zanzibar
Our client operates a bustling luxury fully inclusive beach resort in Zanzibar, featuring over 170 rooms, three restaurants, and four bars. We are currently seeking a dynamic and innovative Executive Chef to join the team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-demand environment, serving over 400 guests daily with a diverse and evolving culinary experience.
Candidate Attributes / Skills:

Strong Background in Fully Inclusive Resorts: Experience in similar style resorts such as Club Med, Robinsons, Sandals, etc., is preferred.
Prior African Experience: Advantageous for adapting to local culinary preferences and operational challenges.
Hands-On Leadership: Engages actively with the culinary team, fostering a collaborative environment.
Expertise in Culinary Sections: Particularly skilled in buffet operations and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
Implementation of Culinary Standards: Ability to establish and uphold consistent culinary standards across all outlets.
Effective Trainer: Proficient in training and developing kitchen staff to maintain excellence.
Adaptability and Planning: Capable of strategic planning and quick decision-making in a remote location.
Multicultural Team Management: Experience in managing a diverse team of 55 staff members.
Cost Management: Strong financial acumen to manage food costs and budgeted meal allowances creatively.
Remote Location Experience: Prior experience in remote or isolated locations is advantageous.

Salary: US$54 net
