Kitchen Associate

Our hotel in Thohoyandou is seeking a hardworking Kitchen Associate (Scullery) to ensure the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. If you take pride in maintaining a spotless environment, we want you on our team!
Main Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
Wash and store all crockery, cutlery, glassware, and kitchenware efficiently.
Assist with the general cleanliness of the kitchen, ensuring floors are mopped, spills are cleaned, and waste is disposed of properly.
Organize and store cleaned items in designated areas to support the kitchen team's smooth operations.
Assist with unloading and organizing deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly.
Report any issues with kitchen equipment or supplies to the kitchen manager.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a kitchen or scullery environment is advantageous but not essential.
