Main Purpose of the Role: The Sales Consultant focuses on offering superior customer service to all customers, emphasizing selling and up-selling products and ensuring a seamless 'Customer Journey'. A key focus of this role is to reach sales targets and resolve customer queries through product knowledge, research, and troubleshooting. The Sales Consultant is responsible for the safe keeping of all company property and assets, facilitating stock control, processing sales, handling cash, and following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies.
Responsibilities: Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, emphasizing selling and up-selling products.Meeting and exceeding sales targets.Ensuring the safe keeping of all company property at the kiosks/workstation, including computers, laptops, phones, stock, money, equipment, and related resources.Adhering to all point of sale (POS) procedures in line with the company's standard operating procedures.Facilitating stock control processes, including replenishing stock, conducting stock takes, ensuring safe keeping of stock, preventing stock damage/loss/theft, managing interbranch transfers (IBT), and receiving stock deliveries.Handling cash and card sales, processing sales, banking, conducting cash-ups, and managing the float.Demonstrating knowledge of the brand, products, services, policies, procedures, and company ethos.Maintaining the general housekeeping of the kiosk, ensuring it represents the company's professionalism, product quality, and customer care.Skills and Competencies: Customer service orientationSales-driven and ability to up-sellGoal and target-drivenStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsUnderstanding of sales principles and processesFluent verbal and written English communication skillsProfessional and confident communicatorEffective listening skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsHigh energy levelsGood follow-up skillsPatience, tact, diplomacy, and approachabilityAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAccuracy and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeStrong administrative skillsAbility to merchandise productsRespect for confidentialityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamComputer literacyPromotion of the brand and company ethosEducation and Experience Requirements: Matric or NQF equivalentPrevious retail sales experience advantageousKnowledge of customer service principles and processesBasic business administration knowledgeAdditional Requirements: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysAbility to travel and work at different kiosks/stores if required
