Job Overview: As a Kids Club Lead, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a childcare and activities center, ensuring the well-being, safety, and development of the children in your care. What you'll do: Program Development: Design, plan, and implement a diverse range of age-appropriate activities and programs for children, ensuring a balance of education, creativity, and entertainment. Collaborate with the Entertainment Lead and resort management to align Kids Club offerings with the overall guest experience strategy. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of Kids Club team members, including counselors and activity coordinators. Foster a positive and nurturing team environment, encouraging creativity and excellence in childcare. Child Safety and well-being: Prioritise the safety and well-being of children participating in Kids Club activities. Develop and implement safety protocols, including check-in/check-out procedures and emergency response plans. Parent and Guest Communication: Establish effective communication channels with parents and guardians, providing updates on daily activities and addressing any concerns or questions. Ensure a welcoming and informative environment for parents at the Kids Club Quality Control: Monitor and evaluate the quality and success of Kids Club programs regularly. Implement improvements and adjustments based on feedback from staff, parents, and the Entertainment Lead Training Development: Conduct ongoing training for Kids Club team members, keeping them updated on best practices in childcare, safety measures, and Dream Hotels & Resorts standards. Encourage professional growth and skill development among team members. What you'll bring: Child Development Diploma or Certificates, or a related field. Proven experience in managing kids' programs, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in childcare. Excellent communication skills, both with children and adults. Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
