Key purpose of the role:To co-ordinate all the administrative elements for the KFM programming department. Take full accountability for the role in the area of responsibility by executing all specified functions within the role and adhering to processes, policies, and procedures while always upholding the company's values.Key outputs/accountability:Oversee and perform general administrative duties (i.e., attendance registers, loading of competitions, invoicing, liaising with finance for payments) for the programming department through the adherence of Programming policies, processes, and systems daily.Assist with the provision of feedback to listener enquiries and complaints that require a response from the business, by following up with the relevant internal stakeholders.Promote and represent the station to the public and listeners in line with our Values.Compile and manage the on-air roster.Be the programming department's dedicated contact for internal queries.Attend programming meetings and contribute ideas.Coordinate content ideas for the radio station's development with the programming team on a daily basis.Coordinate all programming meetings and manage the station manager's diary on a daily basis.Ensure the day-to-day on-air roll-out of programming promotions and events by adhering to station processes (as and when required).Compile instruction sheets and keep relevant stakeholders informed when necessary.Work with presenters and show producers to meet deadlines and capture appropriate data required for report submissions, CSI, and Licensing reports.Plan and work with the programming team to execute any CSI activity, including Lead SA.Assist at station events and activations when required.Play a support role to other members of the programming team as and when required.Educational qualifications and experience:MatricMedia studies degree, diploma, or equivalent.Required skills:Professional interpersonal skills.Networking and client liaison skills.Excellent communication skills.Strong organisational and administrative skills.Strong project management skills.Problem-solving skills.Good networking skills.Decision-making skills.Sound knowledge and understanding of Radio, the digital landscape, and media industry.Entrepreneurial sales opportunity-spotting skills.Attributes:Team player and able to work independently with limited supervision.Detail-focused.Accountable.Can-do attitude and self-motivated.Initiative and follow-through.Adaptable, change agent.Willingness to learn.Resilient and composed under pressure.Professional disposition.Performance-driven.Creative and innovative.Disciplined to meet and exceed delivery on deadlines.Punctual and flexible to work non-regular hours/weekends when required.Suitable candidates will be selected in accordance with Primedia Broadcasting's Employment Equity Policy.
