Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable Civil Engineering Construction Company in search of a Key Stock Manager to join their team. In this role, the Key Stock Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's inventory and stock control functions to ensure efficient operations and timely project completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in stock management within the Civil Engineering Construction industry, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement stock management strategies and processes
Oversee and track inventory levels across multiple project sites
Coordinate with project managers and procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required materials
Monitor stock movements, identify shortages or surplus, and take appropriate action
Manage stock records and ensure accuracy of data
Implement systems and procedures to optimize stock control and minimize losses
Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts
Liaise with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
Manage and supervise a team of stock controllers and assistants
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in stock management practices
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in stock management within the Civil Engineering Construction industry
Strong knowledge of stock control principles and practices
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in inventory management software
Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred
