Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable Civil Engineering Construction Company in search of a Key Stock Manager to join their team.
In this role, the Key Stock Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's inventory and stock control functions to ensure efficient operations and timely project completion.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in stock management within the Civil Engineering Construction industry, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement stock management strategies and processesOversee and track inventory levels across multiple project sitesCoordinate with project managers and procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required materialsMonitor stock movements, identify shortages or surplus, and take appropriate actionManage stock records and ensure accuracy of dataImplement systems and procedures to optimize stock control and minimize lossesConduct regular stock audits and cycle countsLiaise with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricingManage and supervise a team of stock controllers and assistantsKeep abreast of industry trends and advancements in stock management practices
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience in stock management within the Civil Engineering Construction industryStrong knowledge of stock control principles and practicesExcellent organizational and analytical skillsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong leadership and team management skillsGood communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in inventory management softwareDegree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred
