MatricBachelors Degree or equivalent in SalesMinimum 2 years similar experience in Logistics IndustryResponsibilities: Activity Budgeting:
Create personal sales budget based on potential clientele, revenue generated previously, developed clients etc., submit to line manager and head of department for review.Ensure estimations/assumptions used for creating the budget are reasonable.Sales Activity:
Identify potential customers and point of contact in line with designated area and allotted sector.Contact potential customer through cold calls and meetings.Understand customer needs and minimum business requirements.Attempt cross-selling with the Organization and related entities.Coordinate with other departments/functions to verify feasibility of providing requested services.Coordinate with pricing team; prepare quotations and obtain approval for margin charged (wherever required)Document booking of services from the client.Maintain database of clients which are classified as potential, onboarded and developed clients.Ensure any information obtained from the market, especially material updates regarding customer, expected trends etc.
are timely reported to the team leader and head of department.Actively participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, industry conferences etc.
to expand market recognition and Organizations network.Ensure appropriate documentation is obtained from the client for internal due diligence and system onboarding processes.Design and document customer SOPs; including billing details, reporting requirements etc.
Adhere to ICS developed by the line manager and department head.
Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain relationships with potential, onboarded and developed customers.Identify potential clients concerns or issues faced and provide feasible business solutions through Organizations products & services and report the same to the line manager.Communicate with customers with regards to their expectations, feedback and experience from the time of onboarding until the completion of the service.Coordinate with customer service in handing over onboarded or developed customer under them.
Reorting:
Report weekly on potential customer contacted, onboarded customers, confirmed bookings etc.Report monthly on revenue generated against the pre-determined sales targets.Report daily on EFS, daily sales calls, meetings and the next stepMust have valid drivers license and own vehicleMust have in depth knowledge of the Logistics IndustryGood knowledge of domestic relocations industry and customer demand pattern.Deep understanding of global mobilization of household items, equipment, people etc
